The design week in Brussels in September was such a disappointment. In Paris everything was easy to find and directions were available anywhere whereas in Brussels we couldn’t find anything. A good old Belgium situation !!!

However if you like the ‘vintage’ style, it would’ve been your paradise. The whole of the Sablons district is filled with vintage boutiques including the famous market area « Vossenplein jeu de balle » dedicated to a daily bargaining place where people who bargain and professionals meet.

Anyway, Its a really pleasant district to stroll through because of its antique dealers, and its restaurants with their « art nouveau » atmosphere, its museums, and excellent cholocate makers, and of course the magnificent Ladurée boutique for the sake of eye pleasure which isnear the church, located in an old architectural building that has exceptional decor, it really is worth the journey!
